As of Late.....aka: the last three and a half months of our lives...

So, I know I haven't blogged for a while...aka: I'm sorry Jenna, but it's been busy around here and I just keep forgetting. But...here are some pictures from the last while of what we have been up to.

1st off, on Labor Day, we decided to go hike to Table Rock which is in the Tetons. It was one of the hardest hikes of my life. Truly. In fact, we didn't even make it, because of my leg. One of my ligaments or something started hurting more and more as we hiked. So everytime I stepped up, lifting my leg up, it killed. By the time we got to only having one last mile left, I couldn't go any further. It was disappointing, but we'll do it again next summer. It was fun being with Trevor though and getting out in the Tetons, which Trev loves.

Here we are at the top of the mountain, eating lunch. This was just before we turned back.

Trev wanted a picture on top with his electronic boggle, like he did last time he hiked table rock. 

(I really wasn't mad..I just wanted to express that this hike was no walk in the park...?)

This picture is on our run down the mountain (we ran almost the entire six miles back, because we didn't want to see any of the people who had passed us while we were eating lunch, and seeing that we never made it to the top. It didn't hurt my leg to go down since I didn't have to lift my leg at all, just step down.) We wanted to have at least a couple of pics of how beautiful the hike is. :)

Oh yeah, here is a picture of us just before we turned back. It was FREEZING up there!

And then here is a picture of us when we finally made it to the car. Again, I'm not mad...just exhausted. 

Also, in order to get to and from the hike, you drive through just miles and miles of fields, mostly wheat fields. As much as I don't love living in Idaho, I love the wheat fields. They are SOOOO pretty. So here is a picture of some, just for you.

Second off, School started a few days later. Naturally we had to get a picture of Trevor on his first day back to school. I let him pick out his outfit...he chose his favorite shirt. :) Isn't he adorable?!?

Also, a little update on our spiders. Well, it got pretty cold here for about a week, and I think it killed them all off, because we'd come home and see some of those hobos on the wall by our front door and we'd spray them with raid, and they wouldn't run like they usually do. They'd just sit there or they would maybe walk a few steps. So we are pretty much done with those, besides the occasional one we'll catch in one of our many traps around our apt. But as this cold spell was first getting started, Kristen (trev's little sister) came over to interview Trev for her speech on anorexia, and as she was leaving, we were talking to her out on our steps and Trev noticed this HUGE (and when I say HUGE, I mean HUGE) hobo spider by her foot. It is the biggest spider I have ever seen, besides the ones that are supposed to be like that, like turantulas. I tried to get a picture, but it's blurry....

Then we sprayed it till it died. SOOO gross. Here is a clear picture of it all curled up after dying...and it was about the size of a quarter all curled up.

And going along with that, it snowed lots here just before Thanksgiving. We thought we might not get to go see my family because of the horrible road conditions, but we prevailed. But here is a picture of us out in the -4 degree weather. (And yes, that's for reals.)

Oh and then here are some random pictures...

Craig and Kylie (in the back center) invited all of us over for a group date, to carve pumpkins. Me and Trev think we are funny. We carved our pumpkin into the restroom sign people. You can only really see the handicap sign in this picture. It was fun. Dustin and Kristen are the ones on the right side (aka the girl with the butcher knife...) and Brad and Sara are on the left. It was lots of fun!

Then here is a picture of us at Trev's Family's Halloween party. We got pictures with everyone, but this is the only one WE have a copy of...

(left to right: Kylie and Craig, pregnant (which is the family joke with Brad, Craig and Trev all newly married within a two month period...everytime someone says they have an announcement or start talking, someone asks if they are pregnant...so it was esp funny they showed up with Kylie like that...), then me and Trev, and Dustin. Dustin is the only legit person...he's a PT. It was funny we all showed up in scrubs.)

And then here is a picture of us with Kristen at Extravadance. She's on one of the Collegiate dance teams at BYU-Idaho, and so she was in Extravadance. It was lots of fun. We made it into a group date with us, Craig and Kylie and Brad and Sara. We had dinner then we all went over and watched. It was lots of fun. :)

Fishing, Waterfalls, and Turning 19!

Last week me and Trev decided to take advantage of us not having jobs and just sitting at home all day. So, we went fishing. I decided not to do it this time around because I just wanted to get a fish caught so I could finally try one. So, we drove up to Warm River last Wednesday. Trev fished for a while and caught a fish. He fished for a bit longer and caught another one and actually kept it, by putting it in a grocery bag. It was gross. Anyways, we ate lunch, he fished a while longer and then we went to Mesa Falls. They are BEAUTIFUL! I loved them. It was a lot of fun to get out and go have fun in the mountains.

So here is a picture of Trev fishing and then one of him with the first fish he caught. (P.S. So this is him "secret" spot to fish. He comes in the river from the other side of the bridge I'm taking the picture on, and then "sneaks up on the fish." He's a pro. ;) )

And then here is the fish in the bucket we brought to bring our fish home in. Trev said we needed to keep it alive as long as we could so it'd still be good by the time we got home...but we ended up gutting the fish at the river. (Which was super gross..)

It was very gross watching him gut it. But kind of cool at the same time. :)

So then we headed up to Mesa Falls after we finished all of the fish gutting business and cleanup. You pretty much drive right to the look out spots. Here are the upper falls...and us at the upper falls..

So yeah! We had lots of fun! And yes, we ate our fish that night for dinner. It was a fresh river Rainbow Trout. It tasted very similar to Salmon. It was good. :)

Then for my birthday, it was fun. Trev woke up earlier then me and made a nice breakfast. He made us french toast (my favorite) and sour cream eggs with ham in them, and we had water and cranberry sparkling apple cider too. It was fun. Here is the table he set and everything..

Here is the french toast. On top was the piece behind the rest of them in the picture. It was a piece of bread with LOTS of egg cooked on and around it. Trev was all embarrassed and said he'd eat that piece. I asked what it was and he was like, well, I had to use the rest of the egg, so I made an omelet with a piece of bread in it. :) We have fun together. haha!

We just did random stuff all day, like writing thank you notes and working out and just running random errands. He got me a spice rack and a wallet for my birthday, and made me a chocolate cake with coconut frosting on top. It was delicious. We had no candles, so we just used three matches that I had to hurry and blow out after I lit them. It was fun! :)

And then us :)

He made dinner too. He made chicken alfredo and then spaghettios for lunch. It was lots of fun and we watched a movie that night. "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken"...it's one of my very favorite movies...aside from my new favorite "Letters to God." It was a great day and I sure do love Trevor. He treats me so good and we have lots of fun together. :)

Our new Apartment

So, we got a new apartment! Yay! It's in Rexburg, Idaho. It's a basement apartment, and we love it. It's really nice and is recently remodeled. The only downside to it, which isn't even that bad, is that their dogs bark ALL day long while they are gone teaching jr. high. It's funny though, we always know when someone is driving by or even looking at the house. hah. They are silly dogs. In fact, one of these days I may go take a picture of them, so you can see what I see everytime I go on the porch to get the mail. :) It's entertaining.

Here is our second bedroom which is full of presents right now and our camping stuff and everything we haven't organized yet...that's what I'm doing tomorrow. :)

Then here is our bathroom. It's separated with a door into two parts...so here is the vanity section, and then the toilet/shower section. (Notice our sweet shower curtain. For a present someone got our name put on our shower curtain with matching towels that have our names on them. :) )

Anyways, I know they aren't the greatest pictures, but hey, at least you get to see the jist of our humble home. :) Since I know hardly anyone will see it in person, especially since we are only here till December. But we love it! :) P.S. I mentioned Trev got a job. I know my mom will want to know this, so he got a two week job at this craft factory in Rexburg called ArtCo(?) or something and he's working eight hours a day. He likes it so far. So he will work till the day before school starts which is on Sept. 9th. So yeah! I'm still looking for a job, but I'm thinking I'm getting closer. Hopefully. But it's a huge blessing he got this and we're so so grateful! :)

We got MARRIED!!!

Well, we got married. On August 6th, 2010. And just fyi, I got a new blog because my old email got hacked into and so I had to cancel the account and that meant canceling the blog. Sorry. But anyways, I don't really have my wedding pictures yet. They are at my parents' house in Utah. So, when I get a hold of those I will post the ones my photographer took. But here are a few that my sisters took...

We got married at 2pm in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah. It was super windy pretty much all day. So, our pictures are kind of silly because everyone's hair is everywhere. I finally had to take my veil off because it was being ridiculous. But here is a picture of Trev and I when we came out of the temple. :)

It was exciting! My dress was made by my mom. She's amazing! And my bouquet and all the flowers were done by my cousin's wife Jenn. She's also amazing! I loved loved loved my bouquet! It was beautiful!

Here is my entire family, minus my big brother Jason who is on his mission right now in Argentina..(He gets home Sooo soon! I'm SOOOOO excited! :) He gets home December 6th, 2010. :))

Then...all I really wanted from my pictures besides the usual was to get a picture with me and Trev with all ten of my nieces and nephews. (The baby I'm holding is Danny...he was only like 8 days old when we got married. SOO cute!) It wasn't quite how I wanted it, but that's okay.

Well, we had our luncheon right after getting all the temple pictures done. Trevor sang to me. It was really nice of him. He sang Josh Groban's "You're Still You." Like me you might think, that doesn't make sense. It's not that big of a love song. But Trev LOVED it and said the lyrics are what he wanted. So, then it was extra cute when I actually listened to the lyrics. He has a WAY good voice. I love when he sings.

And then after the luncheon, we hurry and did a few things to get ready for the reception and then had the reception. It was very nice. My mom is, like I said, amazing and did my wedding just the way I wanted it. Simple and easy. I sure do love her, and everyone that helped. In fact, I'd like to give a special shout out to Liz, my sister, who despite her current medical situation helped out. What a gem. But anyways, here is me and Trev in our line.

It was lots of fun seeing so many friends and family! Everyone was so generous too. We got everything we needed...and more! We are so grateful for all of our friends and family, especially our family who came down from Idaho and/or helped out lots! :) We sure did miss Jason though. Trev is super excited to meet him, and I'm just plain excited to see him again! I miss him lots! But only 102 more days from tomorrow till he will be home! :) I'm SOO excited!

Anyways, it was a nice night, but I'm SOOO glad it's over. In fact all three weddings in Trev's family are FINALLY over! Hallelujah! We no longer have to talk about wedding plans. It is the best. So yeah, we will put up more wedding pictures when we actually get access to them. :)
