August and Part of September 2013

August was good. I turned the big 22! We celebrated 3 years of marriage! And had fun with family. Trevor's mom and sister came for a week for education week. We also had a girl's weekend with Stacy, Fuzz, Me and Pax, Sara, and Kylie (for part of the time) here in Utah the first weekend of August. Then in September we went to Idaho for almost a week before Trevor started a class he is taking to review before starting PA school (he got accepted to the University of Charleston in West Virginia-it starts in January 2014). We will be moving at the end of December unless he gets accepted somewhere else before that-so we'll see. :) We probably won't know for sure until the end of November/beginning of December. :)
We also went to "This is the Place" state park in SLC with my parents and Emily since Emily and Trev had never been and my parent's haven't been in about 30 years. This is only part of September since we have more pictures on Trevor's phone, that I will blog hopefully soon. :)

Paxton with Grandma. He got to make a necklace with an arrowhead at the part of Pioneer Village where they have Native American shelters (a teepee and mud hut thing-I can't remember what it is called). They were cool to see.

Paxton and Trev both fell asleep on the way back from This is the Place State Park. I think these pictures show how Pax looks A LOT like Trevor. He has his eyes and upper lip. :) When we got our ultrasound of our baby girl, they did a profile shot and the little girl has the upper lip too. :)

Pax hit his face on the picnic table and bit his tongue. He had it bleeding a lot and it was bruised and purple. It was rough. We are SO tired of mouth injuries with Paxton-SO gross with LOTS of blood.

We borrowed this book from my parents of the Book of Mormon stories with pictures. Paxton LOVES it. He especially loves pictures of people being baptized right now, and of course the pictures of Jesus. He also really likes the pictures of Captain Moroni with the Title of Liberty. :)

And yes, his shirt says "potty like a rockstar". We got it with some used clothes we bought and only wear it to bed. :)

We went to Idaho the first week of September to visit while Trev had some time off of work. We went bowling with Paxton, Trev's mom and sister, and sister in law Sara and Matthew. It was fun. Paxton LOVED it.

We had a BBQ with my sister-in-law's parents while in Idaho Falls. We LOVE them. This is Pax playing with their little toys.

And the other day I went out to throw away garbage and found this monster in our stairwell. this picture doesn't do it justice in how HUGE it was. No joke, it was at least 3 inches in length and the body was at least 1.75 inches long. SOOOOO gross. It took drowning it in spider spray 4 times before it finally slowed down and then died. SOO gross.

July 2013

Dallin left for his mission to Hungary, and we went to Idaho so Trevor could shadow a PA he knows up there and to visit his family. It was a good month! We also found out that we are having a girl! :) And we had lots of fun with family at BBQ's, parades, and having Kimberly's kids stay with us for a week while they went on Trek in Wyoming as a Ma and Pa. It was a great time!

We went to "Jump On It" for the first time with my sister-in-law Cyndi and her son Michael. It was a blast. :)

In Idaho. We had planned a picnic with Zola, our 94 year old adopted grandma, but she cancelled last minute, so Trevor's parents and sister came instead. We went to the Green Belt which is a lovely place right by the Idaho Falls LDS temple where the Snake River passes through and they have their beautiful waterfalls. It's beautiful. :)

Paxton loved all the ducks and kept running off. You had to run to keep up with him so he wouldn't fall into the river. 

While Kimberly's kids were here, we went to Pizza Pie Cafe for a pizza buffet lunch. Braden ate his last piece and felt like he was going to throw up. He was moaning and groaning about it the whole way up to Bridal Veil Falls where the kids wanted to play in the water. It was funny because he just kept saying how he shouldn't have ate that last piece of pizza. :) This is him outside our car before trekking up\ to the waterfall. He told me he was going to throw up and sat like this for a few minutes. He looked like he might. I thought I better capture the moment. :) Luckily, once we started walking he started feeling better.

We went to the Steel Days parade the last day they were here and saw 3 hot air balloons. It brought me back to my childhood. It was fun seeing them again.

The kids entered the kids race last minute. We didn't sign them up, so no shirts for them. Oops. They did great though. Here is the pack of kids at the start. You see my mom in the bottom right corner, and Duane is right in front of her with Danny on his shoulders. He ran in the toddler race before this. 

We ran to the other side of the block to see them pass, but missed Willy. I got Kelsey running luckily. :) She is the one with White hair, blue shirt, skirt and cute shoes on, and necklace bouncing. Just because she is running a race, doesn't mean she can't look ADORABLE. ;)

Braxton came a little bit later, and was confused when we were all cheering. He stopped running thinking we were the end. He DID finish though. :)

We LOVED having Kimberly's kids here. They were so fun and so helpful! They were so good with and to Paxton and we hope to have them stay with us again sometime! :) Hopefully we will have a bigger place when that happens though, so they can enjoy it more. :) (The first night they got here, Braden kept making comments about how small it was and asked questions like "Is this clean to you?" and "Do you guys have a bathroom?" HAHAHAHA. Trev and I laughed for a good 20 minutes before bed quoting him.)
