August and Part of September 2013

August was good. I turned the big 22! We celebrated 3 years of marriage! And had fun with family. Trevor's mom and sister came for a week for education week. We also had a girl's weekend with Stacy, Fuzz, Me and Pax, Sara, and Kylie (for part of the time) here in Utah the first weekend of August. Then in September we went to Idaho for almost a week before Trevor started a class he is taking to review before starting PA school (he got accepted to the University of Charleston in West Virginia-it starts in January 2014). We will be moving at the end of December unless he gets accepted somewhere else before that-so we'll see. :) We probably won't know for sure until the end of November/beginning of December. :)
We also went to "This is the Place" state park in SLC with my parents and Emily since Emily and Trev had never been and my parent's haven't been in about 30 years. This is only part of September since we have more pictures on Trevor's phone, that I will blog hopefully soon. :)
Pax and I at dinner in SLC during the girl's weekend (plus Rich and Craig for this meal).

Paxton reading, like always. :) He is just so cute when he does it.

Enjoying the IPod and posing for a picture. :)

Riding a horse at The Pioneer Village

Saying HI and petting the goats, sheep, and pot-belly pigs

Riding the TINY train around a dinky pond. It was humiliating as we passed the youth there cleaning up around the track as they all stopped and watched us go by. hahaa. Pictured: Dad, Mom's arm, Emmy, Trevor, and Paxton is between Trevor's legs-you just can't see him here).

In the bottom of the ship in the Pioneer Village, looking up through the grate.

On the ship

Paxton with Grandma. He got to make a necklace with an arrowhead at the part of Pioneer Village where they have Native American shelters (a teepee and mud hut thing-I can't remember what it is called). They were cool to see.

Paxton and Trev both fell asleep on the way back from This is the Place State Park. I think these pictures show how Pax looks A LOT like Trevor. He has his eyes and upper lip. :) When we got our ultrasound of our baby girl, they did a profile shot and the little girl has the upper lip too. :)

We hiked Stewart Falls with Trevor's mom when she and Fuzz were here for Education Week

We went up AF Canyon for a picnic with my parents, Emily, Jason and Kendra and Reggie. Trev captured Paxton with pot lip-a family favorite in my family. ;) He does this ALL the time. haha.

Trevor's creative abilities with a camera. :)

Pax hit his face on the picnic table and bit his tongue. He had it bleeding a lot and it was bruised and purple. It was rough. We are SO tired of mouth injuries with Paxton-SO gross with LOTS of blood.

Paxton's new favorite thing-putting olives on his fingers, showing them off, and then eating them. :)

Trev hiked Mt. Timpanogos finally (ha) with his two brothers Craig and Rich and his dad (in the middle).

At the top. I just love the pictures Trevor takes of these hikes so he can show me later a play by play of the hike. :)

The Mountain Goats they saw.

Trev wore wool socks and when he looked down at the top, he realized they were good for more than just preventing blisters...

We borrowed this book from my parents of the Book of Mormon stories with pictures. Paxton LOVES it. He especially loves pictures of people being baptized right now, and of course the pictures of Jesus. He also really likes the pictures of Captain Moroni with the Title of Liberty. :)

And yes, his shirt says "potty like a rockstar". We got it with some used clothes we bought and only wear it to bed. :)

We went to Idaho the first week of September to visit while Trev had some time off of work. We went bowling with Paxton, Trev's mom and sister, and sister in law Sara and Matthew. It was fun. Paxton LOVED it.

We had a BBQ with my sister-in-law's parents while in Idaho Falls. We LOVE them. This is Pax playing with their little toys.

Stacy, Trev, and Fuzz eating. :)

Brad and Sara with Matthew in the stroller and their foreign exchange student from Taiwan, Charlene, and Stacy.

Farrell getting food from the BBQ with Mike and Bernie Olsen (Sara's parents). They are always a good time. :)

Cute baby Hallie and Jenna at the graveyard part of my Grandma Day's funeral. Hallie is SO stinking cute! I'm so glad our baby girl will have a girl cousin so close in age (that's a rare thing in this family).

Before the Grave Dedication Prayer

And the other day I went out to throw away garbage and found this monster in our stairwell. this picture doesn't do it justice in how HUGE it was. No joke, it was at least 3 inches in length and the body was at least 1.75 inches long. SOOOOO gross. It took drowning it in spider spray 4 times before it finally slowed down and then died. SOO gross.

  1. See? You need to blog because I have no idea what you guys do or have going on. And speaking of not having a clue, I have no recollection of you taking that picture of me and Hallie at the funeral. Lastly, I'm gonna miss you guys something fierce when you move away!
