December 2012

December was great! We had a lot of fun with family. We went to Temple Square with Trevor's family. They came down for a weekend of fun in Utah. We got to go to the Jones Christmas Party (Trevor's first time, since we were always in Idaho for it), and to Idaho to visit before Christmas. And since Trevor worked on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Paxton and I celebrated Christmas and Christmas Eve with my parents and Emily and Dallin, and Trevor would come have fun after work. It was a great time had by all!
Oh, and I forgot to mention that we got to visit Fuzz (Taushalyn-Trevor's youngest sibling/sister) in Primary Children's hospital. She was there for a few days, so it was fun to go see her. (L-R: Richard, Craig and Kylie, Trevor, Me, Pax, and Fuzz on the bed).

Pax was super bundled up for the cold and wasn't always too happy about it, but looked super cute!

Paxton sure didn't like Santa Clause (or Buddy the Elf for that matter) :)

He REALLY didn't like getting within 20 feet of them. Family picture with Buddy and Santa.
Thanks to my Mom's sisters for putting on this family party every year. It's my FAVORITE. They always do SUCH a great job!

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Steiner in Idaho. Paxton with his sweet grandpa Steiner, reading his Jesus book. (Paxton was obsessed with Jesus for about 4 months-it was cute. "Jesus" was his only word for FOREVER).

Us with our adopted grandma Zola. She lives in Trevor's home ward. I met her once when visiting their ward in RS and we became fast friends. We LOVE her and LOVE getting to visit her whenever we are in Idaho Falls. She is 94 now! She is so great!

Pretty Idaho scenery on our way home from Idaho

There were cool clouds covering the ground for a long time on the way home. It was very pretty.

Christmas morning with his new book from Grandma and Grandpa Day. "Click Clack Moo, Cows That Type"
Hilarious book! You should find it and read it.

Paxton with his new Cars socks on from Grandma and Grandpa, enjoying Dallin's new foot massager on his bum.

Paxton watching me cook-he figured out that there are a lot of cool things in the top drawer, including about 100 rubber bands.

Pax with his beloved Mr. Bear. The poor bears face is misshapen because Paxton always sticks his face in his mouth. (I know, the foot is in his mouth right now, but it is usually the face.)

Pax with his new bike from us that he got for Christmas. He LOVED having Trev push him around on it.
And can I just say it was SO hard not having my sister around for the holidays? The worst. We wished the ENTIRE time she could be here in Utah from Michigan with her cute little boys (she had a new baby boy the week before Christmas) and her husband. We missed them more than words can say!!
